34.)Wiglaf: A Germanic dithematic name, combining wig (fight, battle, war etc.) and laf (what or who is left). I think his name could mean sense Beowulf left him in charge of the treasure and sense his name mean one who is left this could mean that he became king after Beowulf's death.
35.) I think the dragon in Beowulf is a symbol of greed because even when the thief only took one goblet the dragon freaked out and got all mad and went burning down towns.

The raven is a symbol of death and evil and the The dragon could be seen as the raven because it is causing doom and death around the kingdom and it kills Beowulf.36.) Lines 217 to 218 "Foam on her breast, like a bird she flew;"
This quote uses personification and smile. The author give the ship human characteristics the ship calling it a she. One refers to ships often as female but it also gives the ship qualities of tender and nurture. The ship guides them the right way to the Danes just as a mother guides her baby to walk.
37.) Lines 3074 to 3075 "Yet Beowulf's gaze at the treasure when he first saw it had not been selfish."The only reason Beowulf's gaze at the treasure wasn't selfish was because he didn't want any of it. The only thing that matters to him was his own honor and glory.

39.) The one man from Beowulf's army the stays while the others run away and helps Beowulf kill the Dragon represents the theme of a Good Warrior. He is the only one that is loyal to Beowulf. The others run away which will give them a bad reputation.

Even though Wealtheow is the Queen of the Danes she still has to serve the men in the mead hall. This represents the theme of The role of Women. It doesn't matter that she is the queen, she is still treated worse that other people. She is also a peace pledge which makes her a symbol of peace.

This is the begging of Beowulf's epic boast. Which represents his pride.
